- Jamey Johnson with special guest Alison Krauss perform Don Williams' "Tulsa Time" at Farm Aid 2016 at Jiffy Lube Live in Bristow, Virginia, on September 17.
Farm Aid was started by Willie Nelson, Neil Young and John Mellencamp in 1985 to keep family farmers on the land and has worked since then to make sure everyone has access to good food from family farmers. Dave Matthews joined Farm Aid's board of directors in 2001.

I say this every time I watch this. I have seen thousands of live performances inside of nightclub and outside. Watched BB King in a club and George Benson at The summit two of the best concerts I've ever seen. But this tops them!

I've had the pleasure of seeing Jamey Johnson 4 or 5 times in NC and Va, everytime was FANTASTIC!! He deserves SO MUCH MORE than he gets!! I truly believe it's because he refuses to Sell out WHO HE IS!! H the real deal!! I love and RESPECT him!!

Jamey Johnson is what country is supposed to be! Modern country is basically POP music. not a big country fan. But jamey is one of 5 or 8 artists i listen to.
